Kill.Switch

Graphics
Kill.switch's graphics are very reminiscent of say Splinter Cell or Max Payne. Details are a must, everything's close to perfect, you can easily immerse yourself in the game.

Gameplay
Third person shooters usually have lousy gameplay, however Kill.Switch has managed to find a good transition between first person shooter to third person shooter. The controls are similar to Halo - one analog stick moves you on your playing field, and the other is used for adjusting aiming. A control method not new, but still innovative. Any other company who uses any less-functional control methods are dooming their products to failure.

Sound
My favorite part of any game is usually the music. I love music. Kill.Switch's game music is hard to comprehend. At times I was hearing the ever persistent "Danger" music present in many action games, you know the songs that are all repetitive and "actiony". Don't get me wrong, I like those songs but I also heard stuff that sounded like a techno mix of a 70's porn groove... yet it oddly didn't sound that bad either... Anyway. Most of the music was hard to hear at any rate - with all the grenades, rockets, people, and breakable objects exploding, destroying, screaming, and breaking. All I could keep up with was the beat...

Fun Factor/Replay Value
I kept playing it for some time with some luck here and there. My problem was wanting to rush through the levels without using the "hide behind stuff" feature - which ultimately lead me to die in the first 5 seconds on a few levels... But I let a few friends play it as well, and they went ape shit crazy over it. So if you're into mindless violence, guns blazing, running into 8 people at once and taking them out with no scratch - this will be a difficult game for you. Because if you try to do that in here with 2 people on you - you're most likely going to end up dead. The only advice I can give to anybody on playing this game is: "Have Patience Daniel San... Hide Behind Car... Hide Behind Wall... Hide Behind Anything... If Not... Run. And Not Get Shot. Wax On, Wax Off."

Overall Impressions
A good game, too short in my opinion. Too early to tell about Replay Value. Fun Factor is very high, however not too many people have a lot of patience that's needed to do well in this game.

Liked
The atmosphere in the games. A war torn country on the brink of a world war. The feeling of being all alone against a horde of invading enemies (Doom anyone???). Also being able to shoot mindlessly behind stuff was a nice addition. If they can't hit you, you can still hit them right? Well, most of the time with a fair waste of bullets... But at least you kill 'em. Who needs ammo in a third person shooter anyhow?

Disliked
Game was too short. I got frustrated at a few points for feeling totally out gunned and out numbered beyond the point of possibility, however the satisfaction of getting past those points was awesome.
