Graphics
Good graphics. Breakdown has strong graphical elements - realistic modeled people, hands, weapons, surroundings, etc.
Gameplay
Good gameplay elements. I'm surprised how it incredibly incorporated a first person shooter with a fighting game, and actually worked out to make a decent game.
Sound
Good sounds, from what I heard the stereo sound was awesome and actually made you feel like you were in the game at points. It helped to make the player lose him/herself in the game as much as the strict first person view of the game did.
Fun Factor/Replay Value
It's a fun game. I haven't had much time to play it, but I loved what I saw, and I can't wait to beat this game.
Overall Impressions
When you try to take two or more game genres and mix them together, the result isn't always that great. But Breakdown is a good game. Graphically, the game is sharp, it has good gameplay elements, and from what I can get from the plot, it actually had a lot of work put into the story too. Some cut scenes, and especially the intro reminded me of the "The Matrix" movies, which I'm a big fan, so I was naturally enticed to watch on, and the fact that Namco treated this more like a movie than a video game was a neat twist.
Liked
Pretty much everything.
Disliked
Some gameplay elements were annoying at times, but they're easily overlooked. Some of the enemies are invulnerable at the beginning, and I wish there was a way to kill them suckers, but there isn't. That adds to the gameplay by forcing you to run, but I'm not a running type of person. Still, I enjoy the game and wish more games were of this rare quality. (On a side note, it's best to play this game by yourself when you have a lot of free time, because when you try to play it with a lot of people, it's not as fun. Multiplayer should almost be a standard by now.)
