<title><![CDATA[Runic Games Formed from Flagship Studios]]></title>

<description><![CDATA[Runic Games has been formed from the former Flagship Studios Seattle.  This was the team that was behind the game, Mythos.  Runic Games plans to continue with the massive multiplayer online Action/RPG genre.  Max Schaefer and Travis Baldree are heading up this newly-formed studio.  Baldree was Project Director for Mythos at Flagship and also created the RPG, Fate.  Schaefer was the Executive Producer for Mythos and also one of the original founders of Blizzard North, creators of the Diablo series.  Runic Games' upcoming games should come to light "in the coming days," according to their website.]]></description>

It is a simulation role-playing game and will be released in the North American retail outlets come December. There is a mysterious epidemic in the area called Infel Pira Dependency, IPD for short, that has been killing the Reyvateil. <title><![CDATA[Kollection of MK Games Coming to PS2]]></title>

It is a collector's edition box set that includes Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, Mortal Kombat: Deception, and Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks.  This package will be exclusive to the PlayStation 2 and should be available come September for only $30.  This is a good way to reminisce while waiting for the release of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe to come to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. "Mortal Kombat has been a pinnacle fighting franchise for well over a decade now and this is an ideal package for fans and collectors in terms of content and price point," said Mona Hamilton, vice president of marketing at Midway.]]></description>

<title><![CDATA[Never Back Down On DVD and Blu-ray July 29th]]></title>

The film recently won MTV's Movie Award for "Best Fight Scene."  The film is coming in a 2-disc special edition with an extended "Beat Down" version.  Additional features include behind-the-scenes featurettes, deleted scenes, and audio commentary with director and cast. <br /><br />Never Back Down mixes Martial Arts action with drama and stars Sean Faris as a troubled teen who iss off to a bad start at a new high school.  Amber Heard (&#8220;Hidden Palms&#8221;) is the beautiful girl who befriends him.  Cam Gigandet (&#8220;The O.C.,&#8221;) plays the school bully who taunts and nearly fights Jake. I&#8217;ve only just recently gotten around to testing it out. GameTap was the brainchild of Turner employee, Blake Lewin. This service by Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. originally launched with 300 games. The original vision was for the service to take existing games and offer them in a new way.
