Wild Season Trailer Released

Quickfire Games has recently released a trailer for their upcoming game Wild Season.

Inspired by games such as Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing, Wild Season tells the tale of a protagonist of your choosing, a protagonist who was kicked out of their own home by the mafia. However, upon discovering an abandoned farm in a new town, the protagonist decides to start anew by buying the farm and settling in. However, there seems to be a few things off: the farm is a little hard to get to, the townsfolk seem friendly enough but also quite distant, and there are strange sounds from the woods…

Wild Season is intended to be a character-driven game where every character has a history, their own internal conflicts and other issues, and a distinct personality to set them apart from the others. Players can seek friendships, make enemies, and even court the other characters if they so desire; romance is not even limited to the opposite sex. Other things players will be able to do is join the town council to help shape how the town develops, make use of technology to help make running the farm more easily, and also try to discover what sort of dark secret the town is hiding.

Wild Season is hoping to launch on PC, iOS, Android, mobile platforms like Blackberry and Windows Phone, consoles, and handheld consoles like the PlayStation Vita and the Nintendo 3DS. The game’s Kickstarter page can be found here.
