Song of Horror Up on Kickstarter

Protocol Games has recently launched a Kickstarter for Song of Horror, a third-person survival horror game.

Song of Horror is a story-driven game that features sixteen different playable characters and permanent death. While the main protagonist is a man named Daniel Noyer, players will take on the role of fifteen other characters, some related to Daniel and some total strangers. Each playable character has their own background, personality, views, and opinions, and each one has their own unique gameplay quirk. The story will change depending on which of the characters manage to survive.

The main antagonist is a primeval horror known as the Presence. The Presence will haunt players, messing with senses and warping reality. The Presence reacts to players based on pre-set events and procedural appearances at any time, influenced by how players play the game, how much attention characters draw to themselves, and its own mood system. No place is safe from the Presence, and players will need to be able to quickly react to it.

The game's Kickstarter page can be found here.
