P.A.M.E.L.A. Trailer and Steam Greenlight Campaign Revealed
Indie developer NVYVE Studios has recently released a new trailer for their upcoming open world sci-fi horror game P.A.M.E.L.A. They have also announced that the Steam community can now vote for P.A.M.E.L.A. with the launch of the Steam Greenlight Campaign. Those who wish to pledge support for the game can do so here.
In P.A.M.E.L.A., players take on the role of a Sleeper who had just awoken from cryosleep. They find themselves in Eden, a place that might've once been utopian, but has now fallen to ruin and is filled with danger. The Sleeper meets Pamela, an advanced artificial intelligence in charge of overseeing Eden. Together, the two must try to discover the truth of Eden's fall while also trying to survive encounters with the crazed citizens of Eden.
The game will feature a personality-driven AI system. This means that no encounter with the Afflicted will be the same since their pain and disfiguring disease drive them to act in unpredictable ways. There will be various factions for the players to interact with, consisting of Afflicted, security droids, robot custodians, and more. Every faction has its own unique behavior and alliances, and how the player acts will change how each faction interacts with them.
P.A.M.E.L.A. will be released on Windows PC in 2016. More information on the game can be found on the official site.
