Outlast Trinity Coming in April

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Red Barrels recently announced that they will be releasing Outlast Trinity on April 25, 2017, the same day that Outlast II is released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Outlast Trinity will be a physical bundle containing the original Outlast, Outlast: Whistleblower, and Outlast II. It will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The original Outlast game tells the story of independent journalist Miles Upshur, who breaks into Mount Massive Asylum based on a tip that something illegal is happening there. However, he soon finds the scene of a massacre and realizes some of the most dangerous inmates are on the loose.

Outlast: Whistleblower takes place before the events of the original game and stars the man that gave Miles the tip: Waylon Park. Waylon was originally doing work for Murkoff, the corporation in charge of Mount Massive Asylum, but became disgusted with their practices. Waylon seeks to unmask the truth behind Mount Massive Asylum, but Murkoff seeks to silence him, and the inmates have gotten loose as well.

Outlast II stars Blake Langermann, a cameraman working with his investigative journalist wife Lynn. The two journey into the Arizona desert seeking the truth behind the death of an unknown pregnant woman. There, they discover a secluded village that soon proves to be a very dangerous place full of dark secrets.
