Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition Launching on June 14
Nordic Games has partnered up with Microsoft Studios and Moon Studios to release the Steam version of Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition to retail. The game will come in either the Standard or Limited Edition, and both editions will launch on June 14, 2016.
"Since we released Ori and the Blind Forest, we've received many mails, tweets, and requests from fans asking for a boxed retail release, so we're extremely pleased to finally make everyone's wish come true," says Thomas Mahler, CEO of Moon Studios.
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition comes packed with new content, such as new areas, new abilities, more story sequences, multiple difficulty modes, and the ability to fast travel between areas. Players can discover Naru's past by exploring two new environments, master the new Dash and Light Burst abilities, and find new secret areas.
The Standard Edition will cost $19.99 and includes premium packaging, a quickstart guide, a game DVD, and an A3 poster.
The Limited Edition will cost $29.99 and includes a steelbox, a quickstart guide, a game DVD, an audio-CD OST, two postcards, and two double-sided A3 posters.
