New Pokemon Sun and Moon Information Revealed

The Pokemon Company International and Nintendo have recently revealed some new information on Pokemon Sun and Moon. They have provided info on the new legendary Pokemon Solgaleo and Lunala, a look at some of the characters, and a new game feature.

Solgaleo is a lion-like Psychic/Steel Pokemon and the mascot for Pokemon Sun. It has the Full Metal Body Ability which prevents its stats from being lowered, and its Sunsteel Strike attack ignores its target's Abilities.

Lunala is a bat-like Psychic/Ghost Pokemon and the mascot for Pokemon Moon. It has the Shadow Shield Ability which reduces damage taken when it has full HP, and its Moongeist Beam attack ignores its target's Abilities.

A few new characters have been introduced as well. Professor Kukui serves as the professor character of the Alola region, and his assistant Lillie is said to play an important part in the story. A boy named Hau serves as the protagonist's new friend in the Alola region and is a friendly kid with a big appetite.

The Pokedex has also gotten an upgrade. The Pokedex that Professor Kukui gives the protagonist is inhabited by a Rotom, which has its own personality and will converse with the players and give advice on where to go next. The Pokedex also has a QR Scanner that allows players to register Alola region Pokemon into their Pokedex to find its location.
