New Pokemon Introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon

The Pokemon Company has recently introduced several new Pokemon that will debut in Pokemon Sun and Moon, the latest entries in the Pokemon franchise.

Wimpod is a Bug/Water Pokemon that has a new Ability: Wimp Out. If its HP drops below half in battle, it will either run away or swap itself out of battle. It is a cowardly Pokemon that is always alert for danger and a frequent target for humans and Murkrows due to their tendency to carry pearls or other valuables.

Bounsweet is a Grass Pokemon that has a delicious smell. Its fragrance makes it popular with humans, so it often lives in homes while acting like an air freshener of sorts. Its bouncy movement when running from danger causes others to not realize its plight, so no one comes to its aid. It comes with two possible Abilities: Leaf Guard and Oblivious.

Comfey is a Fairy Pokemon that loves picking flowers. It forms a ring with the flowers it picks and uses the aroma to calm itself or its allies. When in danger, it throws flowers at its opponents, then either flees or strikes back. Comfey can come with the Flower Veil Ability, or the new Triage Ability that gives its healing moves the highest priority in battle.

Mudsdale is a Ground Pokemon that is known for its fortitude, both physically and emotionally. It can come with the Ability Own Tempo, but it can also have a new Ability no other Pokemon have: Stampede. The Stampede Ability causes its defense to go up by 1 every time it gets hit by an attack.

Mimikyu is a Ghost/Fairy Pokemon that wears a Pikachu disguise due to wanting friends and believing that appearing like the series mascot will help it befriend more people. Its Mimic ability allows it to escape from being damaged once in battle. Once its disguise is busted, its appearance slightly changes.

Bewear is a Normal/Fighting Pokemon that possesses incredible physical strength. It loves to hug others, but its strength often results in injuries, so others consider it to be quite dangerous. Bewear comes with the new Fluffy Ability, which halves the damage of any move that makes physical contact. However, Fire-type moves do double damage as a result.
