Muramasa Rebirth Released Today
Muramasa Rebirth, the remake of the Wii game Muramasa: The Demon Blade for the PlayStation Vita, has been released today.
Muramasa Rebirth tells the story of two heroes: the rogue ninja Kisuke and the possessed princess Momohime. The two of them find themselves entangled with sinister forces plaguing ancient Japan, forces that would see them dead at any cost. However, both Kisuke and Momohime possess demon blades, mighty swords forged with powerful magic in their steel. With their demon blades, Kisuke and Momohime are capable of cutting down the numerous opponents, be they humans or monsters.
This remake will be in high definition, rendering the Ukiyo-e inspiried art beautifully on the Vita, and also contain several extras. Among these extras include four additional characters and scenarios that can be downloaded, providing players with new stories to experience and new enemies to combat. The remake will also allow players to remap the controls if they do not like the default setup as well as provide two modes of gameplay: one for the hack-and-slash fans and another for those who enjoy using powers in a more controlled fashion.
