Metal Gear Solid V PC Release Date in September
Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. has recently announced that the PC version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released alongside the console versions. All versions of the game will be released on September 1, 2015.
The PC version was originally slated for a September 15, 2015 release date, but was moved up. The game is now available for pre-order on Steam, and the pre-orders will include a free copy of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Steam customers can also look forward to receiving a collector's video showing behind-the-scenes footage and a unique documentary, as well as DLC in the form of a 'Venom Snake' emblem and Mother Base Staff.
The game will also feature a dedicated squad-based competitive multiplayer component. This multiplayer component is known as Metal Gear Online and it has been newly redesigned. It will feature a class system that aims to more uniquely define the strengths and abilities of player characters. Metal Gear Online will be released on October 6, 2015 for console versions and sometime in January 2016 for the PC version.
