Kickstarter Campaign for Asylum Revealed

Senscape has recently announced that they will be having a Kickstarter campaign in order to obtain the funds needed to complete their upcoming horror game Asylum.

Asylum is a game that takes inspiration from the works of H.P. Lovecraft, creator of the Cthulhu Mythos, and builds on the success of the adventure game Scratches. While most of the story has been kept under wraps, other information about the game has been unveiled. The creators have stated that the box for the game will have feelies for customers to enjoy, including a booklet titled “Record Book of the Insane” that contains character profiles, newspaper clippings, testimonies, and a Register of Patients to build upon the game’s lore.

Some of the Kickstarter rewards have also been revealed: t-shirts, beta access to the game, and signed boxes. There is also a chance to be included in the actual game; it could be something as simple as a name on the Register of Patients or actually appearing in the game itself, complete with a cell in the asylum.
