MGM Interactive and EON Productions Ltd. have given Activision the rights to develop and publish video games based on the James Bond license through 2014. The license grants Activision the right to create games based on all of the James Bond movies and also games not based on the movies. James Bond movies have grossed over $3.6 Billion worldwide theatrically. About 20 million units of James Bond video games have been sold.
