Today GameTap and Macrovision announced their partnership which enables the downloading and purchasing of video games through GameTap’s new online digital store. With more than 450 titles, the GameTap.com store offers both classic games and new releases, such as Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary, which became available for purchase June 5th, the same day it hit retail shelves.
“Macrovision is a great partner whose expertise in digital distribution and content protection has allowed us to expand our offerings with a new digital retail storefront,” said Stuart Snyder, Turner’s executive vice president and chief operating officer of Animation, Young Adults & Kids Media.
