Dragon Quest II Available on iOS and Android Devices

Square Enix has recently announced that Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line is now available on iOS and Android devices.

Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line takes place a hundred years after the first game. The fallen high priest Hargon has launched an assault on Moonbrooke Castle, killing the inhabitants inside and bringing an end to the time of peace. The young prince of Midenhall, who happens to be a descendant of Erdrick from the first game, is now charged with finding the two other descendants of Erdrick in order to defeat Hargon.

The game features all of the beloved features of the original game and a few extras. The newest version has controls designed to work perfectly with the vertical layout of any modern mobile device, as well as positioning movement controls to suit both one-handed and two-handed gameplay. There are no in-app purchases, so the only money one needs to pay is the $4.99 that serves as the game’s price tag.

The game can be bought in the iTunes Store and the Google Play Store.
