Assassin’s Creed IV Trailer Released
The trailer for the newest game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise has recently been released.
The fourth game in the series, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag once again seems to be set in a new environment, stepping away from the time of the American Revolutionary War and into a world of pirates. This time the games focus on Edward Kenway, a British man living in the early 18th century who used to be a privateer for the Royal Navy who takes up the life of piracy. Like all the other protagonists, Edward finds himself caught up in the age-old conflict between the Assassins and Templars.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag promises to feature a vast world to explore with more than fifty navigable locations. Combat will also blend the stealthy nature of Assassins with the daring vigor of corsairs, providing a battle system that rewards both subtlety and daring. The game will also feature several infamous pirates, including Edward “Blackbeard†Teach and Charles Vane, adding to the violent and chaotic times that would later be known as the Golden Age of Pirates. Multiplayer mode will also make a return.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and 4, the Nintendo Wii U, and Windows PC on October 29, 2013 in North America and November 1, 2013 in Europe.
