Anew: The Distant Light Second Gameplay Teaser Video Released
Resonator, an indie company formed by former EA, Bioware, 2K, and Volition developers, have recently released a new gameplay teaser video for their upcoming game Anew: The Distant Light. This video gives fans a look at the combat system and the real-time day/night system.
Anew: The Distant Light is an open world, dual-stick action game. Players take on the role of a child that has awakened on an alien moon. Stuck with limited resources, the child must explore the moon, seeking out equipment, upgrades, vehicles, and companions. The moon is a place that is both exotic and dangerous, and the protagonist will need to be careful when navigating.
The game is being developed by veteran game designers Jeff Spoonhower and Steve Copeland, developers of games like Borderlands 2, BioShock 2, and the Saints Row games. The soundtrack will consist of original music compositions by composer Wilbert Roget, II. He has composed music for games like Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Dead Island 2, and Star Wars: The Old Republic.
