Alien: Isolation to be Released Late 2014

SEGA has partnered up with Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products to produce a new video game based on the Alien franchise called Alien: Isolation, which will be developed by Creative Assembly.

Alien: Isolation seeks to return to the roots of the franchise and bring back the horror and tension invoked in Ridley Scott’s 1979 movie Alien. The game will take place on a decommissioned trading station that has been invaded by an alien, a cunning and savage beast that lurks in the dark, ready to strike and kill unwary victims. The protagonists are underpowered and underprepared for an alien threat, and they must find ways to scavenge resources, improvise plans, and keep their wits sharp if they are to make it out alive.

Alien: Isolation will be released sometime late 2014 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC. More information about the game can be found here.
