What is the combat system like compared to previous Gauntlet games?

Gauntlet has always been about fast and furious action, but the previous games have been more about mashing the projectile button repeatedly, and we wanted to make this a richer experience, while still making an accessible gameplay experience for people.




What types of weaponry will the characters utilize?

As you play, you will be able to find legendary weapons that will improve the damage you do, as well as armor upgrades to protect you against the hordes of enemies you will face.


What online features does Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows have?

Gauntlet Seven Sorrows lets you join your friends online in cooperative play.




What environments will we be seeing in the game?

In Gauntlet Seven Sorrows, you travel from vile dungeons to lonely moors, from towering cities to deep caverns. The environments are breathtaking and highly varied. Every level has its own unique look and identity.




What classic features from the original games are coming back?

Gauntlet Seven Sorrows of course brings back the classic four characters of the Wizard, the Valkyrie, the Elf, and the Warrior, as well as the monster generators, hazards, puzzles, and treasures of the original. The announcer still lets you know when you are running low on health and your old enemy Death lies in wait, hoping to steal some of your vital immortality.




Could you tell us some of the various enemies that are included?

The enemies are bound up in the story of revenge and redemption of Gauntlet Seven Sorrows. Betrayed by the Emperor, who was in turn betrayed by his sorcerous advisors, the Heroes set out to undo the evil that has fallen on the civilized lands. You will face hordes of Imperial soldiers, tribal warriors, pirates, beasts, and hulking trolls. In addition, you must hunt down the six sorcerous betrayers, each one who has become monstrous and twisted.
