Batgirl Available on Injustice: Gods Among Us

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has recently released Batgirl, a new DLC character for Injustice: Gods Among Us. A history trailer has been released to help familiarize those who do not know much about the Dark Knight’s female counterpart.

In Injustice: Gods Among Us, Barbara Gordon has recovered from the paralyzing injury inflicted upon her by the Joker and has once again taken up the mantle of Batgirl. She has once again taken to cleaning up the streets of Gotham and shown that much of her combat abilities have returned, even fighting off a hypnotized Bruce Wayne trying to kill her. She also has a crucial choice that she must make: will she ally herself with Superman’s regime or will she continue to fight justice alongside Batman’s insurgency?

Batgirl can be downloaded through Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 400 MS Microsoft Points. She will be available on the PlayStation Network on May 22, 2013.

Spry Fox invites you to explore The Road Not Taken

Spry Fox, creators of the adorable Triple Town, have released their teaser trailer for their upcoming game The Road Not Taken, based around the themes of the Robert Frost poem of the same name.

While not much of the gameplay has been shown yet, the description over at their site hints that it will have elements of roguelikes and Zelda puzzle rooms. They've also signed on Brent Kobayashi, art director on the beautiful but now defunct MMO Glitch, and the co creator of Triple Town and Realm of the Mad God for the design team.

More news will be released in the coming months, but for now enjoy their gorgeous trailer:

Assassin’s Creed 4 Gameplay Trailer Released

A new trailer for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, titled “Under the Black Flag” has been released.

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag once again continues the story of the ongoing conflict between the Assassins and the Templars. This time players will step into the shoes of Edward Kenway, a former privateer for the British Royal Navy who now commands a pirate crew loyal to no one but themselves. He has sworn that the treasures of the empire are his for the taking and that all, no matter how rich or powerful they are, will cower when they see his ship’s black flag flapping in the wind.

The game takes place in the 18th century, a time when the age of piracy saw some of its most infamous corsairs, including Edward “Blackbeard” Teach himself. The Golden Age of Pirates is not a safe time, especially for a man who is both pirate and Assassin. Edward will need to utilize every ounce of his physical prowess and cunning intellect in order to survive in this world and not end up as another nameless corpse dumped in the sea.
