Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has recently released Batgirl, a new DLC character for Injustice: Gods Among Us. A history trailer has been released to help familiarize those who do not know much about the Dark Knight’s female counterpart.
In Injustice: Gods Among Us, Barbara Gordon has recovered from the paralyzing injury inflicted upon her by the Joker and has once again taken up the mantle of Batgirl. She has once again taken to cleaning up the streets of Gotham and shown that much of her combat abilities have returned, even fighting off a hypnotized Bruce Wayne trying to kill her. She also has a crucial choice that she must make: will she ally herself with Superman’s regime or will she continue to fight justice alongside Batman’s insurgency?
Batgirl can be downloaded through Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 400 MS Microsoft Points. She will be available on the PlayStation Network on May 22, 2013.

The METAL GEAR SOLID series is the seminal work of Hideo Kojima, Japan's master game creator, and the progenitor of the stealth action game genre. With more than 33 million units sold to date, the METAL GEAR series has become a global phenomenon. The player controls a secret agent from an elite special forces unit who is sent on solo stealth missions through enemy installations, vast jungles, and sometimes even the thick of battle. Alone and surrounded by the enemy, even a special forces agent will find it tough to come out alive. But that is the secret behind the series' popularityâ€"the cerebral challenge of figuring out how to avoid combat, and the thrill of sneaking through enemy territory undetected.

Spry Fox, creators of the adorable Triple Town, have released their teaser trailer for their upcoming game The Road Not Taken, based around the themes of the Robert Frost poem of the same name.
While not much of the gameplay has been shown yet, the description over at their site hints that it will have elements of roguelikes and Zelda puzzle rooms. They've also signed on Brent Kobayashi, art director on the beautiful but now defunct MMO Glitch, and the co creator of Triple Town and Realm of the Mad God for the design team.
More news will be released in the coming months, but for now enjoy their gorgeous trailer:
